Legacy Society

Auguste Chouteau was one of St. Louis' founders. To honor his legacy, the Missouri Historical Society (MHS) established the Chouteau Society to recognize donors who have arranged legacy gifts. These gifts provide long-term support for the development of world-class exhibits, the preservation and protection of national and regional historic treasures, and the growth of educational and community programming.
